Designed for engineered wood flooring and laminate flooring, this underlay will give you the following benefits:

What is the AWC15's overlap?
What is the AWC15's overlap?The overlap that AWC15 features refers to the extra edge or flap on one side of the underlay roll. This 5cm wide overlap allows each piece of underlay to slightly cover the edge of the adjacent piece, allowing for a seamless connection.
Aside from being aesthetically satisfying, it has the following benefits:
- Gap prevention – The overlap feature prevents gaps between sections, providing continuity of the underlay with the added benefit of blocking air and dust from seeping through these sections, giving a bit of extra insulation and cleanliness.

Is AWC15 right for my flooring?
Is AWC15 right for my flooring?To find out if AWC15 is right for you, consider the following:
- Flooring type – A laminate flooring underlay typically ranges between 2mm and 3mm in thickness. Engineered wood flooring may benefit from a slightly thicker but denser underlay up to 5mm, however, depending on your specific needs.
- Needs – Are you looking for cushioning, acoustic reduction and underfloor heating compatibility? If so, AWC15 may be the underlay for you. Beware, however, that it does not have moisture resistance like Unibase Silver or UniBase Gold, so where you use it is key.
- Subfloor condition – If your subfloor has minor imperfections, and you cannot repair it for whatever reason, an underlay that provides floor levelling may be a better option. With a stable and smooth subfloor, however, the AWC15 underlay could work wonders.
